An inspiring vision for a shared future, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Pavilion at Dubai EXPO 2020 takes visitors on a journey through Saudi and introduces the national ambitions across four main pillars: people, nature, heritage, and opportunities. Representing the Kingdom’s welcoming character and deep-rooted culture the pavilion, resembling a huge window opening from the ground and soaring into the sky, offered visitors an immersive journey showcasing Saudi Arabia’s transformation.

Balancing rich heritage and natural wonders with the energy, creativity and innovativeness of its people, the pavilion demonstrated how Saudi Arabia is shaping both its own and the world’s future. ALEC in collaboration with ALEC FITOUT were responsible for the full project including enabling works, structure, façade, MEP, landscaping, exhibition fit out and AV, as well as coordination of media production along with the exhibition design team Boris Micka Architects.

Saudi Arabia Pavilion is the largest international participant pavilion. It was a spectacular experience for all EXPO Visitors and was surely one of the “Must See” attractions at the Dubai EXPO.

Awarded to ALEC as a design and build contract with fast-track program to complete in less than 17 months, the Pavilion with innovation and sustainability at its core, is LEED Platinum Certified, and was successfully delivered on time and within budget by ALEC.
