16.11.09 - ALEC MEP Awarded AX140 SAS Containment Package at Dubai International Airport Expansion - Phase II
The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority have awarded ALEC the Design, Supply and Installation of the AX140 SAS Containment Package worth an estimated AED 160 million. The complete procurement and installation of the SAS [Specialist Airport Services] containment package has been awarded to ALEC MEP for an amount of AED 130 million. The project consists of the provision of containment, earthing and small power for all of the SAS (Specialist Airport Systems) throughout the areas of Concourse 3. The duration of this project is 20 months and ALEC MEP are expected to commence with their installation towards the end of 2009.
